Peter White – Chief Executive Officer

Peter has specialised in growing and developing solutions and services companies in the technology sector. He has experience in working in large multi national as well as privately owned companies. He has performed senior executive roles such as Country Manager, Director of Services and Operations, and Sales Director at companies such as Tandem, Siemens, Motorola, and Hewlett Packard. He has worked across a broad range of industries in Australia, Asia, and Europe.

Peter’s focus is to enable the company for growth through strengthening the consulting business, expanding its technology offerings, and through an acquisition strategy aligned to the company’s strategy.

Chaim Kolominskas - General Manager Consulting (Qld & SA)

Chaim has more than 10 years consulting experience, specialising in emissions estimation and reporting, eco efficiency (i.e. water, energy and resource efficiency) and environmental management systems.

In his managerial role, Chaim is responsible for the financial and technical output of each office and works on a day to day basis with the office managers to ensure all projects are running to schedule. He also provides assistance to projects requiring his technical expertise. He maintains the engineering focus of the groups and ensures that his team delivers high quality work that meets the approval of both our clients and the regulators.

Damon Roddis - General Manager Consulting (NSW, Vic & Tas)

Damon has extensive experience in the field of environmental science, specialising in air quality and carbon management issues.

He has acted as an auditor under the NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme (GGAS) and Energy Savers Scheme (ESS), and has conducted NSW Greenhouse Abatement Certificate (NGAC) and Energy Saving Certificate (ESC) creation audits for a variety of abatement activities. These have included waste mine gas power generation (Envirogen), coal fired power station optimisation (Tarong Energy, Stanwell Power) and shower head replacement schemes.

Matt Scholl - General Manager Technology Solutions

Matt is an experienced project manager, environmental consultant and solutions provider to a range of industries, including mining, oil & gas, chemicals, refining, smelting, and power generation.

He has more than 12 years experience working on projects covering key aspects of air quality and greenhouse gas management, including monitoring, modelling, environmental impact, dust and odour assessments. He has also advised environmental regulators on the development of emissions inventories and reporting programs. Matt is adept at managing multiple stakeholder relationships and applies his technical skills to understand our clients' business requirements and clearly communicate complex technical solutions to meet their needs.

David Arbuckle - Founder/General Manager Monitoring

David has more than 15 years experience in the measurement of emissions and air quality.

He has extensive hands on experience with the testing and analysis of emissions and has worked on a wide range of industrial, mining and public utility facilities throughout Australia and offshore. He has received specialist training in testing methods in the US and Europe, and regularly updates his skills via continuing training workshops in the US.

David founded the business unit (formerly newEQ) and continues to manage and grow the Monitoring business, providing a strong focus on technical quality and business integrity.

Hugh Scobie - Principal Toxicologist/Manager of Toxikos

Hugh is a board certified toxicologist with more than 14 years experience in conducting human health and environmental risk assessment.  Hugh provides expert advice in the fields of human health risk assessment and toxicology, site specific risk assessment, environmental toxicology, probabilistic exposure assessment, multi-media risk assessment, review of risk assessments and toxicology and development of regulatory standards for chemicals in soil and other media. He has experience in the assessment of human health risks associated with contaminants in air, water and soil from numerous investigations conducted at various contaminated sites and exposure situations.

Jon Harper - Principal Consultant/Manager - WA

Jon is a Principal Consultant and Manager of our WA office. Jon has more than twenty years of experience in the resource sector managing large projects and providing expert advice to mine managers, engineers and other core environmental staff.  He is a leading expert in the field and has developed an excellent reputation in designing and managing environmental and scientific studies.

As a recognised leader in the air quality field in Australia, Jon is building and leading a team of experts in our Perth office. He is successfully utilising the strengths of the senior specialists throughout the company to provide his clients with the best possible outcome for their projects. In line with his capability as a trusted air quality consultant to the resource industry, Jon has developed strong working relationships with the environmental regulators, thus enabling him to work through complex issues.

Jean Vincent - Administration Director

Jean has an excellent track record in managing all aspects of administration and finance for all Pacific Environment business units. She has helped develop most aspects of administrative and financial processes around Pacific Environment's businesses to date and has also built an excellent team around her for support.
