IDENTIFYING EMISSIONS SOURCES:
Whether your organisation is in mining or in health care with the running of hospitals, it is likely that there is a range of emissions sources within your facility. Often the most complicated element of environmental management is assessing each source separately in order to build the whole facility picture. We believe at a facility level this is a three-step process:
Our team of experts has been working with a range of industries, locally and internationally, for more than twenty years on their emission management processes. We can help you identify your emission sources, setting them up separately in EnviroSuite, allowing you to measure and monitor as needed.
There are major benefits associated with isolating each emission source. Operationally, data can be used to automatically trigger control mechanisms. When looking at the management of your facility, individual results can help identify where efficiencies can be created. Most importantly, this information can prioritise changes in organisation policy surrounding environmental impacts, allowing benchmarks to be set and recorded.
COLLECTION AND MEASUREMENTS OF EMISSIONS:
With nearly thirty years of experience implementing environmental processes, we are well versed in installing, calibrating, collecting and maintaining information about your emission sources.
At Pacific Environment, we appreciate that the majority of people who collect emissions data on site aren't specialists. We aim to simplify the process behind collecting data down to simple tasks and where required completely automated.
At Pacific Environment, while it's true that some of our experts were the authors of regulatory calculation manuals, we understand that many of the standard emission calculations require site customisation.
Our Monitoring business unit is a leading monitoring and testing organisation that has worked to assist Australian organisations better monitor emission sources.
If you choose to collate all of your environmental data in-house, our expert consultants can look at your data to validate its accuracy. It's very easy to make simple mistakes and is often very beneficial to involve a skilled external party to validate data sets and results.
All data collected can be directed into EnviroSuite, ensuring integrity and a foundation for organisational single source of truth for all environmental data.
MANAGING EMISSIONS DATA:
Many organisations struggle with efficiently managing their environmental data. Unlike traditional accounting, there are few effective programs specifically designed for emission sources. EnviroSuite is built for this purpose, allowing adaptations for different facilities and businesses.
Our dedicated team of software engineers can work with your local systems to automatically transfer any required data. Removing any manual data entry reduces errors and increases efficiencies.
The three tiered architecture includes a “data mart” as well as data analysis and a client decision making window.
We use the latest open source code to ensure your data is both secure and easily accessible. Our team of dedicated software engineers are constantly developing the modules to best suite our clients. As all data is encrypted in our locally hosted servers, you can be assured of your organisation’s privacy.
EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENTAL DATA INPUTS:
There are many sources of data that are automatically fed into EnviroSuite. We source metrological data from the US and specify the needs of your operations on a daily basis. By using WRF and CALMET data, our blast management tools can predict air dispersion of dust. We can also automate the entry of local weather station data to create real time monitoring solutions.
The flexibility of EnviroSuite allows the input of a range of available data. The strength of the database architecture and use of objects means that the data can be safely stored. To this external data we apply our leading edge modeling analysis which is accessed via the .Net portal.
