Shane is an environmental consultant with seven years of experience managing sites including industrial, broad acre, schools, residential developments and quarry remediation sites. In this role he has written management plans, planned and executed remediation and preparation of reports for EPA Site Auditors. He brings considerable fieldwork experience, in addition to the seven years he has spent with DLA he has also worked for three years in a variety of roles in an environmental laboratory.
Shane added to his qualifications with the NSW Work Cover Asbestos Assessors License in 2013. This has allowed Shane to increase his focus on asbestos remediation, compliance testing and clearance and validation.
A dedicated cyclist Shane enjoys the outdoors, often taking him on camping trips to challenging 24hr mountain bike events or enjoying 50-100km race events with friends. Shane enjoys family life with Deby and their two children and family trips to the tropical islands of North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Shane has undertaken extensive field works, over the last three years to validate nearly a thousand hectares of the Penrith Lakes precincts. and Shane is currently assessing environmental issues and supervising importation of fill materials during the works at the PGH Brick Quarry, Schofields. The project will require approximately 2 million cubic metres of imported material over the next three years.
