Alex Cheal brings a 15 year career of delivering consulting and advisory services to CEOs and leadership teams. He leads the business development efforts for Pacific Environment’s Technologies group in NSW.
Alex works with his clients to implement automated environmental management systems based on the EnviroSuite technology platform.
This provides clients with the benefits of improved operational management and predictive risk management intelligence, leading to better environmental and economic performance for the operator, as well as safer communities.
With a career-long focus on Natural Resources, heavy industry, engineering and infrastructure, his clients have included both tier-one blue chips, as well as developing organisations. His geographic scope of experience spans 5 continents.
Some of Alex’s more exotic client/locations have included a multi-billion mineral sands mine start up in Madagascar, a European engineering company in central China, a specialty chemicals company in Malaysia, a 6.4Bn ton coal mine in remote Southern Africa and a high profile LNG joint venture in SE Asia.
In addition to a passion for the economics of the environment, Alex is an overly-enthusiastic road cyclist and has cycled the entire length of New Zealand (solo and unsupported) to raise money for a street children’s charity in India. An emerging Tweeter and committed Linked In evangelist, Alex also has a fiendish coffee habit.
