2015 Energy, Utility & Environment Conference – San Diego, California
This week, Kristin Zeise, Founder of Pacific Environment and one of the company’s board directors is attending the 18th annual Energy, Utility & Environment Conference at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. This year’s conference brings together a multi-disciplinary grouping of professionals within the electricity generating industry as well as regulators, consultants and equipment manufacturers servicing the industry. Industry in the US continues to respond to an ever increasing tightening of environmental standards across a range of regulatory issues, creating complex challenges.
Topics include USEPA’s revision of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (‘NAAQS’), mercury control, CEMS and stack monitoring, carbon capture and storage, ash dam management, wastewater management and groundwater monitoring.
Running alongside the EUEC expo is the Clean Car Expo. Promoting the Clean Cities Program, the exhibitors at the Clean Car Expo include alternate fuel vehicles, including EV, CNG, H2, NGV, biofuel, hybrid and fleet management companies.
