Jessica, an Environmental Engineer in our Brisbane office, completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geographical Sciences at The University of Queensland in 2007 and graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland in 2011.
Since joining Pacific Environment in March 2010, Jessica has assisted the principal engineers in a range of projects including preparing emissions inventories, air quality monitoring data validation and analysis, greenhouse and energy auditing, National Pollutant Inventory reporting, noise monitoring and reporting, National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting and water monitoring and reporting.
Jessica has worked on a variety of emissions inventory and air quality monitoring projects for the coal mining, power generation and port industries. Jessica has developed an emissions inventory for cargo handling equipment at several Australian ports and identified options to reduce these emissions. She is familiar with the NPI framework and has assisted with the development of two NPI emission estimation technique manuals. She has also assisted major electricity providers in Queensland and a number of landfills with their NPI reporting.
Jessica has also assisted with a number of greenhouse projects. Recently, Jessica has been involved with the auditing of a landfill gas power generator under the Carbon Farming Initiative and has assisted a large food manufacturer in Queensland with their greenhouse reporting requirements.
