Richard Bolton is the Sydney Regional Manager for DLA Environmental Services. Richard has worked for DLA for over 8 years. Richard has worked on varying size Remediation and validations, as well as extensive water,soil and asbestos field work and reporting.
RIchard has worked on too many sites to count over the years some of the more memorable Sites have included Garden Island Naval Base, Opera House, Cronulla Sharks, the Sydney Harbour Bridge as well as many other sites within Metropolitan Sydney. Clients have included major developers, local councils, civil companies and National Government agencies.
Prior to becoming an environmental consultant Richard worked in laboratories in both the UK and Australia and has brought with him extensive analytical knowledge applicable to his current role.Richard is a member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygenists, a member of Australasian Land and Groundwater Association and WorkCover Asbestos accreditation courses.
Richard is originally from England and arrived in Sydney in 1997, living in North Bondi for the first 5 years (no surprise). Richard has a keen interest in fitness including ocean swimming, gym and cycling and completed a 15 day ride from North to South Vietnam. Other interests include charity gardening and helping at an animal shelter. Richard recently bought a Land Rover Defender which he hopes to take around Australia one day.
